Available from today, the new EOS 70D is the first DSLR from Canon to feature the company’s new Dual Pixel autofocus technology that enables class-leading focusing speed and accuracy in video and live-view mode.
Announced back in July, Canon has released the new EOS 70D in Singapore, the much anticipated successor to the EOS 60D.
Canon’s new mid-range DSLR boasts a number of new features, of which, the 20.2 megapixel 70D is the first DSLR to use the new Dual Pixel autofocus system, which touts significantly improved focusing speed and accuracy in video and live-view mode. Other key features include a 19-point AF sensor (same one used in the 7D), Digic 5+ processor, 7fps continuous burst, articulating touchscreen display and built-in Wi-Fi connectivity.
The EOS 70D is available now from all Canon authorised dealers. Pricing are as follows:
