The second generation model of the highly popular stock Android slate has finally landed here and will retail for S$379 for the 16GB WiFi model.


Fans dying to get their hands on arguably the most bang for buck Android tablet on the planet will have something to rejoice about — the Nexus 7 (2013) will be available from September 21, here in the sunny island state of Singapore. The Google slate will retail for S$379 for the 16GB WiFi model. No word so far on the 32GB and LTE-equipped models but we expect them to make their way here soon, too.

Here’s a quick specification rundown:

  • 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro SoC (found to be actually a downclocked Snapdragon 600)

Two protective covers will also be available for the Nexus 7, a Travel Cover, available in 6 six vibrant colours, as well as a Premium Cover, which is similar to Apple’s smart cover. The Travel Cover will go for S$29 while the Premium Cover will set you back S$49.
